Mioe CIC Women’s Poetry Night

In Sept 2025, Poetry Into Light hosted and scheduled a special intimate women’s poetry night with some sharing work for the first time! Local established poets Jo Mazelis and Rhoda Thomas joined in to read alongside many of the women from Mioe’s current community project work, which is focused on women’s wellbeing and empowerment.

The event ran at Tides Arts Gallery in Uplands and included a charity raffle of some of the Mioe project artwork.
