Poetry Afternoon:

Swansea Arena with Owen Sheers & Steve Balsamo

An ambition come to life for Poetry Into Light! Working with Owen Sheers and Steve Balsamo on Poetry Afternoon at the Creative Learning Coffee Shop event was amazing. Guinevere hosted the afternoon with themes of family, home and place coming to light. Steve Balsamo played some new ChimpanA acoustic tracks inspired by his new paths into poetry and shared some of his recent poetry achievements. Owen treated the audience to a selection of new, as yet unpublished poems, and ran a special book signing and Q&A session.

We were lucky to have such a great tech team from the Arena supporting sound and lights and a massive audience turn out. Poetry Into Light hopes to run more Coffee Shop events as part of Creative Learning in the future. Thanks James Morgan and the Arena team!
